The Rock Falls Junior Rockets are not-for-profit competitive youth wrestling club. The Junior Rockets act as a "feeder" program for the Rock Falls Middle School and Rock Falls High School wrestling programs. The club is designed to teach the fundamentals of wrestling to kids ages Pre-K thru 5th grade, as well as breed good sportsmanship, and a winning attitude.
The Rock Falls Junior Rockets typically has around 30-40 wrestlers each year, both male and female. Wrestlers are divided into four divisions based on their ages.
Tots: Ages 5 and younger
Bantam: Ages 6 & 7
Intermediate: Ages 8 & 9
Novice: Ages 10 & 11
The Rock Falls Junior Rockets are members of USA Wrestling and the Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation (IKWF).
